I installed the Nest Thermostat and joined the Rewards Program the same day. I kept getting emails that it’s not installed and now I got charged $25.00 is this a scam or should I go ahead and return it.

In addition to what was mentioned above, the Rush Hour Rewards are a reward for saving energy during the peak demand period, which automatically tunes the temperature before and during Rush Hour. With this, there are no subscriptions to be paid, as you only earn a reward. Please check out this article to learn about Rush Hour Rewards.
