Hi, I would like to buy a Nest thermostat to use with my electrical hot water boiler. Before buying, I would like to know if the Nest is a "proportional thermostat" (works with cycles to maintain the temperature near the set point), or a "conventional thermostat" (turns on when the temperature gets under the setpoint, then turns off when it gets back to the set point).
