Re-Wiring Honeywell system to Nest with whole home humidifier

Here is a picture of the current Honeywell module on the furnace, I only have the R and W currently but I've run 2 sets of cabling, the 18/12 for the AC/heat pump and gas furnace and 18/5 for the whole home Humidifier. Anybody run across this setup before?

Hi Simple-ton,

Thanks for reaching out. I'd like to know more about it. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? In what country are you located? I don't have access to the link you shared. Do you mind sending another photo of the wires connected to your system's control board?

Best,

Jenelyn

@Jenelyn_O  Any thoughts on this? Can this be re-wired to support the nest Thermostat?

Hi folks,

@Simple-ton, chiming in—thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest in our Nest Thermostats. It is important to note that you’ll need professional installation in installing Nest Thermostat with a whole-home humidifier. Choosing the wrong options for a humidifier or dehumidifier can result in system damage, so it’s important for a trained professional to assess the requirements for your system. Learn more about Humidifier and dehumidifier compatibility here in this article.

I appreciate your help, Jenelyn.

Best,

Zoe
