Reconnecting my nest thermostat to my phone

We’ve had the nest 3rd gen for awhile now & I can’t operated it on my phone. Help it worked at one time

To assist you with the best solution, I would like to get a bit more information:

  • Has your thermostat ever connected to your network?
  • Are you controlling your thermostat from the Nest or Google Home app or the thermostat display?
  • Does it show offline in the Nest or Google Home app or indicated on the device?
  • Can the thermostat find or detect other networks?
  • Has there been any recent change in the home Wi-Fi network?
  • Can your other devices find your Wi-Fi network?
  • Are you trying to connect to the 2.4 GHz or the 5 GHz network?
  • Can your other Wi-Fi-capable devices (phone, tablet, computer) connect to the internet through your Wi-Fi network?
  • What are the troubleshooting steps you've already tried? If so, which steps have you tried already?
