I have the common 4 wire t stat. Y to y, G to G, w to w , but my red goes to R and also jumpers to another screw labeled 4.
looking at the R and 4 screws , it appears r is heat and 4 is cool.
is there a near t stat compatible with my system?
it is an oil furnace.
