i have two nest thermostats, one that co trols heating and hot water, the other controls a different heating zone the water pump
would be great if i could rename hot water to pump on one of the thermostats

Thanks Jake, I don’t think this will work, however i no longer have the problem, as I have re configured the system.
The issue is that if yu you use the hot ware control for somethng other than hot water there is no way to rename this within the nest system, not to wrroy though
