I recently replaced my radiators with ones which have a higher heat output, and now the thermostat overshoots the set temp. If I set to 21 deg the room reaches 23.5 deg.
I would like the thermostat to relearn how long the room takes to reach temp., but cannot reset the True Radiant setting so that it learns again.
I have removed the Thermostat from the app and carried out a factory reset, then re added the Thermostat to the app, but True Radiant still says "Ready" and not "Learning".
Any ideas please?

This has been requested for ages, but it was never acknowledged. The only way i can think of is to create an entirely new house/room and add your factory-resetted Nest to this.

Tried setting up a new home with a factory reset thermostat, but still didn’t reset True Radiant

that's terrible. It means that the learnings are stored in the Nest google cloud, and are stored under the unique ID of the thermostat, and can never be resetted. Duhh......

Hi folks,
@Knebby, thanks for the help!
@Olafmol, thanks for reaching out. If you reset all of the settings of your Nest Thermostat, it should forget all of the learned settings including True Radiant. How's it going with your Nest Thermostat? Have you tried setting it up on a new home structure?
Thanks,
Edward

That doesn’t work.
