Having the same issue. Even left the battery out for 2 hours. Still says it’s connected to another account.

Few questions to further isolate the issue - did you use the same account when you reinstalled the Google Home app? Do you see the same home structure in the Google Home app after you logged in?

Yes, I still have the same problem. The solutions that have been offered are for the thermostat. I need to know how to reset the sensors without access to the original account. Is there a number I can call first distance from google?

I'm having same issue. I am trying to connect to a different email account and I started a new nest account. Every time I reset sensors, it keeps saying it's associated with another account. I shut down that account and can't remove it from that old account. What next?
