Restarting installed Shows e23 no power??

Cannot restart Nest Thermostat that I turned off two weeks ago.  Shows no connection to Rc wire and error 23.  Recharged battery. Voltage is good but no values for voltage in and out.  Have also tried turning breakers on and off.  Also found no water or back up in safety switch.

Thanks for thoughts on fixes.

Hi Highland2022,

Sorry for the delay but thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community and for providing a detailed description of your concern.

Could you try checking on your thermostat wires by trying the steps below:

  1. Pull off your thermostat display.
  2. Check that the wires are inserted correctly in the thermostat.
    • Check that each wire is fully inserted into its connector and that every connector with a wire is down as shown.
    • Check that each wire has ⅜ inch (6mm) of exposed wire.
    • Turn the power to your system back on and check to see if your thermostat is working.
    • Check that each wire is connected properly to the system board.

Important: Protect yourself and your thermostat and your system. Turn off power to your system and thermostat at the breaker or fuse box before exposing or adjusting any wiring.

Keep me posted.

Best,

Melba
