Rush Hour Rewards Unenrollment

Hi all,

We recently received a notification saying "Power Savers Texas scheduled an Energy Rush Hour today" and a time frame. The issue is we have no recollection of signing up for this. There's also no way to disable it through the Nest app or website. It just says to do it through the energy provider. We have TXU as an electric provider. I went into our account on the TXU site and there's not even an option to enroll a Nest Thermostat. It says it only supports Honeywell, Amazon, and Sensi smart thermostats. When I Google "Power Savers Texas", there are no results for that specifically. I've seen several posts about this but don't know if anyone has found a solution. So IDK where to go to unenroll from the program so our thermostats stop automatically getting adjusted. It's very frustrating. Does anyone happen to know how to go about leaving the Rush Hour Rewards or whatever it's called? The only setting with Nest itself is to disable notifications for when it's going to adjust the thermostat. So, there's no setting in the Nest app/website to disable or leave the program, there's nothing listed on my Electric provider's site, and nothing shows up when I Google Power Savers Texas. I'm at a dead end here trying to figure this out.  Any help would GREATLY be appreciated!   Thanks

Hi dbsnola,

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. I want to check if you are still in need of any help. If so, to unenroll from the Rush Hour Rewards program, you need to contact our Google Nest support team directly. Here's how:

  1. Go to Contact Us - Google Nest Help
  2. Select "Thermostats", type a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
  3. Click "Other", then click "Next step" until you see the contact options.
  4. Choose to get a call or call or chat with the team as available in your country.

Let us know how it goes.

Best,

Zoe
