STOP Rush Hour from changing my presets

I did NOT sign up for Rush Hour and I do NOT want it!! I have entered my presets to support the energy saving program offered by my energy company, SRP 3-6. So, when Rush Hour started ramping up my AC between 3 and 6 pm it actually caused my bill to be higher. I read the advice of other members after I could not find a way to disable in the settings. The best advice was to turn off my device which required me to start over with the settings. I did that, making sure I did not enroll in Rush Hour, only for Rush Hour to kick in and turn up the temperature at 7:30pm when it’s still 98• here in Phoenix. I’m furious! I want you to unenroll me and stop jacking around with my thermostat! I’m pretty sure this is illegal and if it continues I will pursue legal counsel.

I completely agree with you, this thing is terrible!!! I get home from work and this stupid rush hour thing kicks on and all the sudden im sweating my balls off and im like wth is going on?!?!?!? I go look at my thermostat and its freakin 88° inside my house in the middle of summer in las vegas!!!!!!! Im tired of it, it keeps messing with my presets and when it does kickoff, i have to run my a/c for hours to cool my house off and my bill is getting out of control!!!! Im tired of it and i want it to stop immediately!!! But alas i cant find a way to turn the stupid $h!+ off!!! Screw this stupid "rewards" program! Go away!!! Nobody likes rush hour when ur in traffic why the hell do u think it would it would be a positive thing in my home!

If you’re currently enrolled in Rush Hour Rewards and want to unenroll, you may get in touch with our support team by visiting the Google Nest Contact Us page. Once you unenroll, your Nest Thermostat will no longer participate in Rush Hour events.
