AC Shutdown

AC shutting down when temperature is above set point. Thermostat said start again 2 hours. On its own.  I have found times when the set point changes on its own. How do I stop outside input from changing system settings.

Hello Mark3d,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community Forum.

Unexpected temperature changes happen when the Nest Thermostat Auto-Schedule is enabled or has a Temperature Schedule. The Home and Away Assist and Routines also trigger the thermostat to adjust the temperature automatically. If you encountered incorrect temperature set points, please check the applicable settings above depending on the Nest Thermostat version you have. Edit if needed or remove them to ensure it only follows your target temperature.

Let us know if that helps.

Regards,
Mark
