Schedule Nest to turn off at set time

Hi

When I manually set my heating schedule, I cannot set the schedule to turn the Nest off at a specified time. It is only possible to set the time at a minimum 9 degrees. We want our heating to turn off completely at night. Is this possible - and if so, how ?

Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, the Nest Thermostat does not have a specific "turn off" option for the heating schedule. The minimum temperature setting is 9 degrees, but it doesn't allow for a complete shutdown.

However, you can achieve a similar effect by setting the thermostat to the lowest comfortable temperature during the night or by switching it to Off in the app. While it won't turn off entirely, it will help minimize energy consumption during the night. You can use the "Away" mode instead of adjusting the temperature.
