Schedule on Nest not available since migrating to Google

Howdillo

Over a year ago I agreed to migrate my Nest app over to Google. Since then, all ability to set the schedule on the app has vanished. My Nest says I am connected to the app (therefore no code to add it to anything). It is connected to wifi, which I know is true because I'm still getting the monthly usage summary emails from Google. The home screen on the app just has my account name for Home, at flashes the current temperature and weather. But there is seriously no "schedule" button anywhere. I have thought to try doing an "add" again, but with no code available, I can't do that. I'm arbitrarily selecting "Wifi and Connectivity Issues" as a category, though that's probably not it. Anyway, after a year of frustration, any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello Howdillo,

I'm sorry for the late reply, and thanks for letting us know that the Temperature Schedule was lost after the migration. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

Please make sure that you are logged in with the right email address associated with your Nest Thermostat. If so, check for any available home structures where it might be connected. You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling the Nest app, then attempting to choose "Sign in with Nest" and entering the same email account you've been using.

Keep me posted if you still need help.

Regards,
Mark

Hey there,

I don't want to be a nudge, but I'd like to check if you were able to log in successfully. Feel free to reach out again if you still need help.

Thanks,

Mark

Yes!! The app uninstall/reinstall, followed by logging in with Nest...that did it. Thank you!

Hi Howdillo,

Sounds great! I'm glad to hear that reinstalling the Nest app would allow you to log in successfully. It looks like we can consider this one complete, so I will lock the thread within 24 hours unless I can help out with anything else.

Best regards,

Mark
