No my problems have not been resolved Another poster on this site responded with a solution to add the thermostat to the nest app as a second home ie main home and then add a second location for the upstairs This worked as far as getting the thermostat on the app BUT it is not functioning as it should ie two thermostats for the same home working together I have well over $400 invested in these thermostats and would like a resolution to this problem Is there a solution? Thank you

Hey LWheeler.
I am sorry to hear you are still having trouble. Just to double-check, you are trying to get both thermostats to control the home at the same time?
Nest thermostats in the same home don’t share temperature schedules. Each Nest thermostat learns a separate schedule for the zone that it controls. I did find a helpful article that provides a little more detail on that. Please let me know if that helps, as I want to ensure you are good to go.

I understand HOW they are supposed to work and I know they work independently of each other but I can NOT get them loaded to the Nest app as TWO thermostats for a 2 story house with one being designated as downstairs and the second designated as upstairs in the SAME home. This is what I want to do and, as I understand it, this is how they are supposed to work. I want to talk to someone who can tell me how to accomplish this

I had already read the article you shared and that is no help at all except to highlight the fact that they DO NOT work as marketed

Hey LWheeler,
Apologies for the frustration. I am not an electrician or HVAC professional. I would recommend having a Nest Pro come out and take a closer look at your system. They would be able to set up the device's and ensure everything is working properly. Please let me know if you have any other questions from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look.
Best regards,
Jake
