Set Temperature

Just noticed for the past month or so.

For example I set the temperature to 78 cool.

Then noticed without me putting it to 77 degrees it does it by itself. 

If I just want to set to 78 degrees and if I want to lower it manually I will.

How can I prevent it from automatically going down to 77 degrees?

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I’m sorry to hear that your thermostat doesn’t keep the desired temperature. I’d be happy to assist in determining what is causing the temperature to change from 78 to 77 degrees on its own.

To better assist you, I’d like to ask the following:

• What is the model of your Nest thermostat? Here’s a helpful article about how to identify your thermostat model.
• Do you have a Rush Hours or Nest Renew subscription?
• Did you receive an error message notification when the temperature changes?
  

In the meantime, I’d suggest the following steps:

• Check the Energy History to see if some features are causing the unusual thermostat activation. For more information, see this article: Thermostat Energy History.

Hello and Thank you. 

I think I may have found it.

I checked the Schedule and each days were set to 77 degrees.  So I just removed all the daily schedules at 77 degrees. So right now there are NO SCHEDULES and manually set temperature to 78 degrees. 

I've attached a couple of screenshots of the 77 degrees and the empty now.
