Heat not turning on

My 3rd generation Nest Learning Thermostat stopped working at the end of last winter. The boiler will turn on but the thermostat doesn’t turn it on. Currently there’s a low battery notification and I’m charging it. What else could it be?

We appreciate all of your previous troubleshooting efforts to connect with our community. I am aware that you have charged the Nest Thermostat. I need to know a few things about your thermostat in order to provide you with a better resolution.

• Does the thermostat display show any error codes or messages?

• When did the issue first occur?

• When was the thermostat installed?

• "What is the make and model of your HVAC equipment?

• How long did you charge the thermostat with a USB cable?

• Do you see a blinking LED light? If so, is it red or green?

• Is your thermostat still offline?
