Am I missing something? We have thermostat where we’d like to reach a heat at a scheduled time (Not based on movement). Then the heat stays constant to a certain time and turns off (Over night).
on the app/schedule we’re presented with the time and temperature. I have scheduled the first timer for 8am to around 20degrees and then set a second time at 9am to 7degrees (to turn off?). Then this repeats for 7pm to 10pm. Is this right? I don’t really want the thermostat to stay on (concerned about energy)
It seems a little unclear by turning down to say 7degrees is practically off (or like eco)

@Lister , if you think about it, the goal you have to have the system not operate between 9am and 7pm. By setting a lower temperature set point the system will effectively not be using any energy. You set a temperature set point low so as to protect the home from freezing and that is it. Both the ECO and the Safety temperature are to save energy and protect the home respectively. Set your Safety heat to say 1°C and your Eco heat to say 6° C.
If while you are away from home the ECO feature will not let the home go below 6°. If you turn your system off by the thermostat or your app, your safety feature will not allow the temperature in the home to drop below 1°C.
