Standard Nest Thermostat - Airwave

I bought a new condo with a Nest standard thermostat. Unable to set up WiFi, Home app or Nest app. Can't find how to turn off Airwave without them, since there is nothing in the Settings menu for Airwave on the standard thermostat.

The only way to turn off Airwave "off" on the Google Nest Thermostat is through the Google Home App. There is no option to turn it off at the thermostat.

Are you having problems connecting to Wifi or just don't have it yet?

I have Google Fiber 1-G Internet and WiFi off of that, but can’t figure out how to connect the Nest (standard). Do I have to remove it from the wall? I'm not a handyman, so I am leery of that. And when I go to Apple’s App Store, how do I tell which “Home” app is Google and which is Apple?

Got the right app and got help with setting up WiFi. There should be a step by step guide with the thermostat. Even if there were, I'm not sure the builder of our condo would have passed it on, as we are missing others. Thank you for your help. For now, I'm up and running.
