I’m going to look into a class action against nest regarding gen 1 and gen 2 no longer working in the app, which is the ONLY REASON I bought these nests. My house has multiple hvac systems, so now I need to replace multiple nests.

They also did this to some of the Nest cams. I just got a new wireless cam, and it just goes offline.  I have to charge it for 4 hrs and try again. The battery symbol has never gone below 75%.

@Nestclassaction , make sure you understand that you research this first. Remember those pesky terms and conditions you agreed to when first activated the software? In there the companies typically have language about end of live for products and software etc.  Most people do not read them, they skip to the bottom and simply click AGREE.

How do I find info on replacing the thermostat? Specifically, can I use the old base, or do I need to change that too?

I will join any class action against Google Nest regarding Nest Learning Thermostat (1st and 2nd gen) no longer working in the app. I bought my Nest Learning Thermostat 2nd gen long before Google acquired Nest Labs for US$3.2 billion in January 2014!
