Well, I replaced my trusted older two stage Honeywell thermostat with the Nest Gen 3. Our hone is 8 years old and very energy efficient and I have two stage heating and cooling. The 1 degree swing is very noticeable now that we are using the Nest. Please answer if you will add the ability in the future to move the swing to 1/2 degree as many many other thermostats have already. I am willing to wait if an update is planned if not then I will have to consider other options as the purchase of the Nest was to make my home more comfortable not less.
… I can only assume this adjustment was considered and determined not to be allowed as there are complaints all over the net for may years and no change has been made. There must be a reason to ignore consumer feedback regarding a simple software change.
