System compatibility

I want to see if my system is compatible. I can’t find one of the wires in the is my system compatible. Any help is appreciated. Pics included.

Hello MikeStrat,

your HVAC system is a conventional Heating and Cooling system and is fully compatible with a Nest Thermostat. The wires being used to control your HVAC system are as follows:

• RC - Red wire is Power IN
• Y - Yellow Wire is Compressor Contactor Control for Cooling 
• G - Green wire is indoor blower fan control
• W/E - White wire is Heating Control
• C - Blue wire is  Power COMMON

You need to note what type of heating system you have, My guess is it is Gas Furnace.
