System issue message- nest power connector N260 error meesage

Hi everyone,

I’m encountering an issue with my Nest Thermostat. I received this message: “Nest Thermostat isn’t receiving sufficient power, which will cause the thermostat’s batteries to drain rapidly.”

Currently, only four wires are connected:

Green wire to the G port

Red wire to the R port

Blue wire to the Y port

White wire to the W port

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?”

Hello @Deeps

Thank you for reaching out to our Nest Community. Don't worry; I'd be happy to help you with your Nest Thermostat's battery.

I fully understand this situation. Let me give you a hand.

  • I want to start by asking you what Nest Thermostat model you have.
  • Are all the wires of your thermostat seated firmly in its terminals?
  • When did the issue first occur?
  • Did you try to charge the display?

With these details, we can have a clearer idea of the reason for this situation.

Feel free to keep posting, and we'll work to find a solution for you.
Best regards,

Douglas
