I guess this is heating & cooling.
My Nest E thermostat is new within a month (4/2023).
I have a schedule set in the app:
I understand that it will fluctuate based on possible Peak times, which it does well.
however, the problem is in that I go for a morning walk 6-7:15am and when I get home, the Nest is set to 70°-80°.
I leave my phone at home, although my Apple Watch also has my geolocation. I live alone so nobody is changing it.
Today I had my windows open because it was a nice 58° outside and 68° inside when I left, but when I got home, my heat was running to get to 70°.
Any advice welcome.

Hello DMV_Andrew,
I know it has been a while, but I wanted to ensure that everything was covered here.
I appreciate the detailed information about what happened. Please check the Google Home app and tap Routines. Look for any thermostat actions available and then remove them. This might trigger your thermostat to change the temperature unexpectedly. Also, restart your thermostat to refresh.
Keep me posted.
Regards,
Mark

This doesn't address much of anything. Please review my original comment. One of the problems is the temperature range it is going to isn't anywhere in the settings. Let me know when you have information.

Hello there DMV_Andrew,
Thanks for getting back to us. I understand your thoughts about the temperature changing. Apart from the Home and Away Assist or the Temperature schedules created, The Routines also have a major impact when it comes to sudden changes in temperature. To confirm, have you checked the Routines to see if there are thermostat actions available?
Best,
Mark
