I have a regular nest thermostat and I need to adjust the brightness of the display. When theres low light it is so dim I can't read it. It only brightens up when I turn on the light. Useless.
How do I adjust the brightness?

Hi JustinB1970,
Thanks for reaching out. You could go to Settings > Equipment > Brightness. Then press the ring to adjust the brightness of your Nest thermostat's display. You can select low, medium, high, or auto.
If you have a Nest Thermostat E, brightness is adjusted automatically.
Thanks,
Edward

Hey JustinB1970.
Can you confirm which model of Nest Thermostat you have? That might be where the confusion is coming from as the Nest Thermostat E doesn't have manual controls for brightness.
Thanks,
Jeff
