Just installed 2 Thermostat E’s and neither have any display when connected to USB adaptors.Is it just a matter of waiting for them to charge or are both faulty?
How long should it take?

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that your Google Nest thermostat E does not turn on or show anything on the display. I am happy to assist you! I recommend you make a reset, connect your Google Nest thermostat with a USB cable, and then push and hold the thermostat display for 10 seconds, and please let me know if your Google Nest thermostat device shows a green or red light on the top.

Having spoken to your help desk it was established the thermostat was faulty. I have no received and fitted a new replacement which is working great.
