My 3rd gen Nest Thermostat is currently 5.9.5-2.
I have a Nest Temperature Sensor which won't connect until the Thermostat has been updated.
The Thermostat insists it is "up-to-date". Wifi connection is strong.
I have read articles saying updates are being rolled out slowly in different areas but mine is well over a year out of date now.
When will updates be rolled out to UK?

Oh indeed they are that bad!
Wouldn't it be great if the Mods here could all support the users, and explain to Google how much the sensor would be appreciated.
Sadly that will never happen either!

I assume you are talking about the small remote Temperature Sensor
Simple answer, in the UK Google are not interested in us at all, and your sensor will not work. You have the latest firmware, so don't bother trying to update, Google will update any firmware when they want without telling us.
There is NO intention for these to be used in the UK.
The software is in the thermostat, it just needs Google to activate. {they will not]
I have asked for years to get them working, but they have never given me a good reason why they don't.
Best thing is get a refund.

**bleep**. That is the worst reason I have ever heard but sadly I was coming to the same conclusion myself but I thought even Google can't be that bad...
