Thermostat keeps turning off! Please help

My nest thermostat has worked fine for over a year now.  Just in the last 3 days now I has started shutting off (going into Away mode) while I am still at home.  I only notice because it starts getting really cold and when I go check the thermostat will be in away eco mode.  This is horrible at night. The last two nights I wake up freezing the temp is 58 degrees and the dang thermostat is I. Away mode.  I check the History and it only says. “No Presence Detected”.    Why all of a sudden has it started doing this?  I made no changes to the setting or anything.   It’s middle of winter time and it’s freezing me out.  Please help.

Hello Djquinn31,

I'm sorry to hear that your thermostat randomly switches to Away status. I'm sure that is frustrating, but I wanted to see how I could help.

A change in the phone's settings, such as location or app permissions, might trigger the Nest app to set the status to Away. To avoid random switches in mode, turning off the Home and Away Assist would help. Also, disabling the off-line learning or clearing the schedule might help.
