My 3rd gen thermostat is no longer connected to home wifi network and Nest app now says offline. Been working well for year plus beforehand. Nothings changed in terms of BT FF broadband, smart hub etc.

Followed all the advice on trouble shooter but no joy.

All and any advice most welcome.

Have you fixed it? I've called several electricians but not yet found one available. Going to cost hundreds. 😞

Another problem is now occurring. Our Nest thermostat still offline and now appears to be losing / resetting date and time ??

Hi Beepee,

Thanks for reaching out! I can definitely get your thermostat back online. This link will take you directly to troubleshooting steps for Nest thermostats experiencing offline issues: Please visit Nest thermostat is offline.

Regarding your question about the thermostat resetting the date and time, this is happening because your thermostat is offline.

I hope this helps! and let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Manuel

Manual,

Many thanks for the link I tried all those steps but no joy. I end up buying another thermostat and pairing it to my existing heatlink and now everything is working again.

Ive kept the receipt this time so if the this unit fails within guarantee period then I’ll be wanting a replacement
