Thermostat no power

MegansMum

  • we have a 3 year old Nest thermostat which has died; for 3 days it has had no power getting through to it and no display. We’ve checked the obvious things like the fuse box so looking for any further suggestions - maybe we just need a new one

@MegansMum

Which Nest thermostat do you have, an how is it wired?

We have the 3rd generation learning hub; but we’ve now got someone coming out this morning to take a look. I think the HeatLink is not working so that is probably causing problems. I found yesterday I could charge the hub with a USB lead and that indicated that the HeatLink could be the problem.

The Boxt engineer confirmed that it was the HeatLink which was faulty, he replaced it and all is now working again.
