Thermostat not controllable via Google Home

Kenkd

Thermostat newly installed and replaces former gen 2 thermostat. I see it in the Home app, but when I try to access it, the app displays a blank screen.

called customer service 2 days ago. They helped me delete the device and my home and to set everything back up. No joy. They then said there was a technical issue and they were working on it. They were to update me with progress. I’ve heard nothing and the issue is not fixed.

I've been experiencing the exact same issue. I have gone the same route as you with an identical result. I was told they are working hard to fix this, but it is a bit hard to swallow the cost of this t-stat and have it act like a "dumb" device.

Hey all,

We're aware of an issue with accessing thermostat controls in the Google Home app. We’ll share an update as soon as possible, thanks for your patience.
