I have a nest learning thermostat that has been installed about 2 years, and worked perfectly until today. It is reading the ambient temp about 10 degrees high. It’s down to about 63 in the house, the heat doesn’t come one because the ambient temp is reading 73.

Hi Harrymason,
Thanks for posting in our community.
Getting a temperature readout higher than you expect can be disrupting for sure. Let’s see what can be done about it so we can get your thermostat back on track.
What generation of Nest Learning thermostat do you have? Have you tried any troubleshooting steps? I would also like to know if there have been any recent changes to your HVAC system or recent power outages.
As a first step, please go into "Settings">"Technical info">"Network." By doing this, you should be able to see a signal strength value; let me know what it says.
In the meantime, please restart your thermostat. The sensors on the Nest thermostat might have been uncalibrated, and a simple restart would be enough to recalibrate the sensors and show you an accurate temperature reading.
You can restart your thermostat by going to "Settings">"Reset">"Restart." It will take a few moments to restart and boot back up.
Let me know what you find out.
Regards,
Angel.
