Hello, I wonder if someone could help me. I have had a Nest thermostat for a couple of years. Approximately 6 months ago I had the box that connects to my boiler replaced. This was done for free by Boxt so I would guess it was an issues with the box itself. I think it’s called the Heat Link but I could be mistaken. Yesterday I came home to find that the heating is not working. The thermostats states the heating is on but all the radiators are cold. I have tried resetting the heat link by holding the button for 20 seconds but this has not resolved the issue. I have tried resetting the boiler, that didn’t help either. I still have hot water so I know the boiler is working. Please help!
My model number is Display-3.4
software 5.9.5-2

Hi there! I'm sorry to hear about it, but I'm here to assist you! Could you please turn your heat all the way off, and all the way up and listen if the Heat Link makes a clicking sound when you turn it up? Also, after that, turn the temperature all the way down again, and listen for the clicking sound. Let me know once you were able to do this.

Hi, I have tried that but no click. The boiler works as I can turn the heating on when I switch it from timer mode to on but I have to manually switch it off after. There doesn’t seem to be any communication between the nest and the boiler

Thank you so much for all the details. Can you tell me if you see any lights on the Heat Link?

Yes they are

Can you tell me how many you see?

There are three symbols which are lit up

Okay that means the manual mode is on. You did mentioned a timer mode in one of the above messages. Do you have any programmer or other thermostats in your house?

No other thermostats, only the Nest. The timer is on the boiler itself for when you preset what times the boiler/heating turns on with no Nest. If the heating on the boiler is changed from “off” to “timer” then the heating does not turn on. If it’s changed from “off” to “on” the heating kickstarts. If it is then changed to “timer”, the heating is on full blast and there is no way to regulate it

Thank you so much. Can you tell us what type of heating system do you have?

Worcester Bosche combi boiler

Okay. In this situation can you please check for the Manual mode to be off and make sure to turn the thermostat to 9 degrees?
