Thermostat schedule

Getting the schedule to work - I thought I would add this as I had issues getting the schedule to work

i assumed that setting a schedule would automatically turn the thermostat on, it doesn’t, you need to have the heating on all of the time but make sue you set it low enough to not kick in through the night. I set mine to drop to 9 at 8pm, then set it to 19 at 7am, this ensures that it is affectively off overnight (In the UK)

I hope this helps as it drove me mad waiting for the schedule to activate from an off position

Hi Tom,

Thanks for this I have been having the same issue. The schedule wouldn't turn the thermostat on. I am going to try what you have advised and hopefully that should work for me. But I am still baffled as this may make the solution very energy inefficient wouldn't it?

Cheers,

Ash

  • Should be ok if you set the temps right. 👍
