Thermostat sensor time periods

Why can't I alter the preset times of day when my primary sensor is changed. The "manage sensors" schedule offers preset times that arbitrary and not designed for someone with a child that goes to bed at 7pm. My choices are boil the child for the first few hours of sleep or freeze myself until going upstairs. Why can't GOOGLE fix this software issue?? Looks like others have been complaining about it for years.

Thank you for bringing this up to us. 

At the moment, this Nest Temperature Sensor schedules are the options for us to select. I know that others are requesting a more flexible schedule to select and we'll take this as feedback.

Can we also get the ability to schedule by day of the week?  I need my office to be the primary during the day on Monday through Friday but not on the weekend. I’d like to have the master bedroom be the primary later on the weekends so that I can sleep in comfortably. Each is on a different side of the house, so the bedroom gets hot quickly after 7am on the weekend.
