Thermostat shows in nest app but not in the Google Home app

After migrating the Nest app into the Google account all 3 thermostats initially showed in the Google Home app.

There are three rooms.   The thermostats in two of the rooms were deleted in the Google App.   They all still show and work in the Nest App.   Is there a way to re-sync the data so they exist in both Nest and Google?   I need them to show in the Google Home app to use Alexa.

I have tried deleting from the Nest App and reinstalling with no results.   I have attempted to add them directly to Google Home, but they two thermostats not appearing are gen 1 and gen 2 - there is no QR code or setup code on the back.   Although a key can be generated by the thermostat, it is a 7 digit / alpha code.   Google Home is asking for a 6 character code.

Any suggestions?

Thermostats should automatically appear in the Google Home app if you’re using the same account in both apps, using the same home structure, and have assigned the thermostat to a room in the Nest app. If any of that isn’t true, you’ll need to go ahead and fix those issues to see if you need to try the steps below at all.

Assuming all of the above is true. try these steps:

  1. Open the Nest app and follow the “Create another home in the Nest app” steps linked below to create a new temporary home structure:
Manage homes and products with the Nest app - Google Nest Help
  2. Open the Google Home app, find and delete the home structure you just created by following the “Delete a home” steps linked below:
Share a home and devices in the Google Home app - Google Nest Help

This forces the two apps to sync and your thermostat should now appear in the Google Home app.
