After setting up a new wifi network, and trying to reset the thermostat, it is stuck on
"Continue setup in the Google Home App" in several languages. This is the mirrored face thermostat.
Google home app does not see it, and the capacitive buttons on the side do nothing. Removing batteries also does not do anything, it goes right back to this screen.

Any way that you can set up the old Wifi?
This is the easiest way

@Patrick_Caezza No, unfortunately. A power surge fried my old 802.11n router. The new router/network is a 802.11ac

You don't need your old router, just change the WiFi name and password on your new router to what was on the old router.

Thank you for providing that information. If you're having difficulty connecting your thermostat to the Google Home app, this tutorial, Get started with your Nest Thermostat and Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen), outlines the necessary steps. It also includes helpful videos to guide you through the process. I hope this helps!
Let me know how it goes and keep me posted.
