Thermostat wake display

Anyone else have this problem: 

A couple of days ago I changed the setting in the app for my thermostat that the display should wake on touch. Now I want to change it back to wake on approach and it's not letting me? Any ideas

Same exact thing is happening to me! The options on the app are all grayed out and I can no longer change it back to "wake on approach".  What is happening?

Thank you. Model is 1.4. As far as I know, that feature can only be controlled via the app, I am not finding it on the thermostat itself. Please let me know if that's not the case.  Thanks.

Hi,

The wake on approach used to work. I have the option in my app to toggle it on or off. A few weeks ago I put it off but now it won't let me toggle it back on

Thank you. But is this a feature that you guys disabled recently? Because, just like in the case of the other user here, it always used to work before, it's just recently that the options are grayed out and I can no longer change them. This is very inconvenient to be honest, now unless I touch the thermostat, I can't see the temperature on approach. If it used to work before, why did you guys disable it?
