Thermostat wires

I have a w/e wire. All the other wires seem compatible, where would this one go to the nest thermostat

It sounds like you've got a specific wire (w/e) that you're trying to connect to your Nest thermostat. Typically, Nest thermostats use common wire labels like Rc, Rh, C, W, Y, G, and O/B. In your case, if the wire is labeled W/E, it might not be immediately clear where it should go.

To determine the correct placement, you might want to share with us a picture of your existing thermostat's wiring setup. Also, tell us the make and model of your HVAC system and what type it is.
