Thermostat wont turn on ac.

Had it all hooked up everything work perfectly yesterday. Today the ac won't kick on when I change the temp through the app or on the thermostat. If I pull the thermostat I can make it kick on with a jumper wire but the thermostat wont work to start ac. Please help...

Same thing is happening to me.  It goes on for 30 seconds and shuts off.  The fan in the ac unit outside runs but the ac does not kick on when I lower the temperature on the thermostat.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues activating your AC with your Nest Thermostat. Let's sort this out.

Incorrect configuration or wiring setup might be the possible cause. A few questions: could you please share with us photos of your old and current thermostat's wiring? Does the same issue occur when controlling the heat? Also, does it have a C-wire?
