I recently installed a Google Nest Thermostat with a 3 wire system (R, W, C). The thermostat functions as it should, except it does NOT recognize the C wire. The transformer supplies ~24VAC. I really don't want to pay a "pro" $100 to tell me that the unit is broken. Anyone have any ideas?
