Unable to adjust temperature from app after migrating to Google.

Continuing to have issues. All I see when I open nest is the home and away feature. If I click on the home it does not allow me to adjust the thermostat or see the temp in the house. Please advise. I also uninstalled the nest app and reinstalled. Same result.

Hi DebH,
Thanks for reaching out here in the community.
I'd like to check a couple of things for us to further isolate the issue. Are you getting any message from the Nest app when you change the temperature? Since you've migrated your account to Google, you could download the Google Home app and then log in using the same account. From there, you should be able to manage and control your thermostat.
Let me know how it goes by replying to this thread.
Best regards,
Ryan

Thank you for your response. I am NOT getting any message from the Nest app when changing the temp from the base unit. When changing the temp only Home and Away is showing on the app and nothing changes. I tried downloading Google Home app and log in using the same account, but that didn't work either. It takes me to loop when I select Nest to add and won't let me past that point. At this point the only way to adjust it is at the wall.

One thing I forgot to mention, if I look under Activity History I can see the Home/Away activity when it detects my phone is absent from the house the unit switches to away. So the history is there for home/away but that is all I see in history.

Hi DebH,
Thanks for reaching out here in the Google Nest Community.
I'd like to check in here if you're still not getting any data from the activity history on the Google Home app. You could uninstall and reinstall the app and try to log in and check if the history will show up.
Let us know how it goes by replying to this thread.
Best regards,
Ryan
