Unable to check warranty on Nest thermostats

I am trying to check my Nest warranties.   New home, 2 were installed.   One has a recent display version and the 2nd has a much older display version and acts totally different.  But, according to installer, they are the same Nest’s.   Since the display versions are so different and they act different at the UI (on thermostat), they are likely not the same version as installer indicates…..So, figured if one thermostat is older, warranty being old or out of date would indicate that and then can go back to the installer to resolve the issue.
