Unable to log in to https://home.nest.com/login/nest

I recently installed a new Nest Thermostat. When attempting to create a new Nest account via https://home.nest.com/login/nest using my Google login, I'm stuck in an infinite loop. I'm redirected back to the login screen after selecting my Google account, preventing me from completing the setup.
