Unable to remove home from Neet App

I recently sold a house with a Nest thermostat (maybe gen 3 - not sure). Did factory reset for new owners. After moving tried to remove home from Nest App but it complains and says need to do it from Google Home App. However, it was never set up on Google Home app and I can’t connect to it anymore. What can I do please?

(apologies for category.. my question doesn’t seem to fit any!)

I solved it. Managed to install Google Home and it knew both homes via my account (email address). I was able to remove the old home there and it automatically removed it from the Nest App.
