Unable to remove my old Nest Thermostat from my Nest App

 I can't seem to delete or remove an old Nest Thermostat from my Nest App.  My old nest thermostat stopped working and have had to be replaced. I was able to add the replacement (new) nest thermostat to my nest app, but can't seem to remove the old thermostat from the nest app.  I no longer have the old nest thermostat. I tried the suggested steps to select the old nest, menu, settings, etc. but couldn't locate the 'security' settings that was mentioned.  

How can I remove, delete or trash my old nest thermostat from my nest app when I no longer have the product?

Hey Razor1, 

Thanks for posting and sorry for the delayed response. Please see the step by step guide below: 

1. Sign in to the Nest app.
2. If you have another home, on the app home screen, tap Menu in the top left corner. Then select the home that has the product you'd like to remove.
3. On the app home screen, tap Settings.
4. Tap the thermostat you'd like to remove. 
5. Scroll down and select Remove [product name].
6. You'll then be asked to confirm your choice.
