Unable to transfer to google

Since moving to google I have been unable to control my heating on my phone. My unit does not have a QR code or a setup code embossed on the base of the unit. Help pleade

Hi Busb001, 

 

Uh-oh! Are you located in North America or Europe? What type of Nest Thermostat do you have? If you have the Nest Learning Thermostat or Nest Thermostat E, go to Settings > Nest app on your thermostat to reveal the QR code. If there's really no QR code or you can't access it on the thermostat, you can manually type in the key or serial number.

 

  1. Tap Continue without scanning at the bottom of the QR code scanning screen. Then type in your product’s entry key or serial number.
  2. You can tap Find the code or Show me how, and the app will show you where the serial is located on your product.

 

If you have a hard time reading your Nest product’s entry key or serial number, take a picture with your phone’s camera. Then open the picture in your photo app and zoom in.
