Unable to turn thermostat display on

MahirYuksel
Community Member

Display of my thermostat is not turning on when i press it. However, the nest app is working fine and i am able to change the temperature easily via the app.

I have received some online support which led me to restart the thermostat and then the display worked. I have finalized the chat at that point but i realize after 30 minutes or so, display was not turning on when i press it. Then i restarted the thermostat again with the method i have learned from the support and display is working again. For a while , just like the previous time.

Ultimately, i needed to connect the thermostat to new wifi , which i was able to do meanwhile display was working but this is such a weird problem and i want to have some sort of explanation/solution.

I see. Can you restart it as instructed and let me know what you see when you check the power readings in Settings> Tech Info> Power?

i can see that via the app, which indicates 3.93 volts. And Last contact is shown as "Just now"
