I never authorized Google to change my temperature via Seasonal Savings regardless of the fact that you can stop it once it starts. This is a violation of my privacy, unauthorized access of my equipment and a reflection of the far left crap that Google feels they have to tell us how to conduct our lives. If I want to turn my thermostat to arctic mode in the summer, or Vulcans mode in the winter - that’s my problem. I never asked Google to intervene, not did I give them permission or opted in any crazy climate change plan, when I bought a Nest.
just tell me how to permanently get off the Seasonal Savings list or how to permanently opt out.

I don't want to learn how to turn it off every time you shove it down my throat. I don't want it to EVER come on. I never asked for it and you don't have the right to change my thermostat settings. You're really askijng for a class action lawsuit if you don't disable this feature for me and others. Turn it OFF!!!!!

Firstly, I don't work for Google, just another user. My understanding is it does not activate automatically. You get a notification on the thermostat itself and in the app each season that asks you whether you want to enable it or not. You're quite welcome to also send this feedback directly to Google.

David, I apologize - this is focused on Googles policy. The Seasonal Savings feature comes on and you have the option to disable it every season. It’s not about being able to turn it off, but the fact that it’s pushed to me without my permission … Regards
