My heating system has an Aux/Emergency heat that should come on during extreme cold. It would be nice if there were reports to tell when its using the main vs aux heat since the aux heat cost more. Recently had a failure on the main heat which caused longer getting to the correct temperature. Would be nice if the smart thermostat was providing smart insights like a potential failure or abnormal behavior.
